Most of the orphans we help in Uganda have lost both of their parents, while some have lost only one parent. Our goal is to assist these children by finding guardians for them or supporting them through the surviving parent. In general, all orphans live in very dismal conditions due to a number of factors.

Uganda has 2.5 million orphans; 1.2 million of them are orphaned as a result of diseases like cancer, cholera, malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS. Medical treatments are too expensive for those who are poor.

There are numerous other challenges these orphans face from what to eat, dress, and most of all access to education.

As we already know, education is a weapon against poverty and a life of misery. It allows the child to explore and expose their God-given talents, skills, values and knowledge. Heavenly Bridge Ministries has taken up the challenge of helping to provide basic education for the younger children and vocational education to the older students. 

To accomplish our goal of providing an education for every child, we are asking you to prayerfully consider supporting these students with a monthly or yearly sponsorship. Your sponsorship will provide food, medical needs, school fees, materials, and school uniforms. It will also provide stability and consistency so that they can work to become what God has called them to be and escape the cycle of poverty.
